Accessible bathrooms in Maldon
Safer, easier bathrooms for homes in Maldon, Heybridge and the surrounding villages.
Nord designs safer, easier bathrooms for homes in Maldon, Heybridge and the villages around the Blackwater. Whether it's a bath that has become hard to climb into or a bathroom being adapted for a parent, we start with a free visit to understand what you need now and in the years ahead.
We specialise in level-access showers, wet rooms, grab rails, shower seats and comfort-height fittings, all chosen to look stylish rather than clinical.
What we fit in Maldon
- Walk-in showers with low or level-entry trays
- Wet rooms with a fully level, non-slip floor
- Easy-access and walk-in baths
- Fibo waterproof wall boards from Norway instead of tiles, with no grout lines to clean
- Grab rails that look like towel rails, fold-down seats and comfort-height toilets
Prices, VAT relief and grants
Most full Nord bathrooms cost £8,500 to £10,000, including design, materials and fitting. Smaller changes cost less, and you'll get a fixed written quote after your free visit.
If you have a long-term illness or disability, adaptations can often be zero-rated for VAT. You may also be able to apply to Maldon District Council for a Disabled Facilities Grant. We'll talk you through both at your visit.
