Accessible bathrooms in Clacton-on-Sea
Safer, beautiful bathrooms for homes in Clacton, Frinton, Walton-on-the-Naze and across Tendring.
Nord covers Clacton, Frinton, Walton-on-the-Naze and the surrounding Tendring villages. We help people adapt their bathrooms so they can keep living comfortably and safely in the homes they love.
We design walk-in showers and wet rooms that are easy to step into, add support exactly where it's needed, and use non-slip floors that still look good.
What we fit in Clacton-on-Sea
- Walk-in showers with low or level-entry trays
- Wet rooms with a fully level, non-slip floor
- Easy-access and walk-in baths
- Fibo waterproof wall boards from Norway instead of tiles, with no grout lines to clean
- Grab rails that look like towel rails, fold-down seats and comfort-height toilets
Prices, VAT relief and grants
Most full Nord bathrooms cost £8,500 to £10,000, including design, materials and fitting. Smaller changes cost less, and you'll get a fixed written quote after your free visit.
If you have a long-term illness or disability, adaptations can often be zero-rated for VAT. You may also be able to apply to Tendring District Council for a Disabled Facilities Grant. We'll talk you through both at your visit.
